Samsung India have announced the pricing details of their flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy S5.
They have also revealed the prices of the Galaxy Gear Smarwatches.The Samsung Galaxy S5 will be priced between Rs 51000 to 53000. Earlier, the company was rumored to to set the price of the S5 lower than it’s predecessor. The S4 currently costs around Rs 28000. So, the S5 is nearly double the S4’s price, with only a few upped specs. This price tag is not just expensive, it is actually unaffordable for most of the population.
And here are the prices for the smartwatches:
- Samsung Galaxy Gear 2: Rs 21900
- Samsung Galaxy Gear Fit: Rs 15900
- Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 Neo: Rs 15900
Samsung really needs to work on its marketing strategies if it is to sell more devices in India.
