Did you use the Flo period-tracking app in the US between November 1, 2016 and February 28, 2019? If you also logged period or pregnancy details, you can claim part of a $59.5 million privacy settlement. Online claims for the Flo settlement close at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on October 15, 2026.

Who qualifies for the Flo settlement

The court-authorized notice sets two conditions for the nationwide class. You must have used the Flo app in the United States between November 1, 2016 and February 28, 2019. You must also have entered menstruation or pregnancy information into the app during that time.

California residents get a bigger cut. Claimants who can document California residence during the class period will receive twice the pro rata share paid to residents of other states.

How to file your claim before October 15

  1. Go to the official settlement website named in the notice, PeriodTrackerDataPrivacyLitigation.com.
  2. Complete and submit the claim form online by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on October 15, 2026.
  3. Alternatively, mail a paper form to Period Tracker Data Privacy Litigation, P.O. Box 173126, Milwaukee, WI 53217, postmarked by October 15.
  4. For questions, call (866) 778-9626 or email [email protected].

The notice is blunt about the deadline:

The only way to receive your share of the Settlement Fund is to complete and submit a timely and valid Claim Form electronically by no later than 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on October 15, 2026, or to mail your Claim Form so that it is postmarked no later than October 15, 2026.

— Court-authorized Notice of Proposed Class Action Settlements, Frasco v. Flo Health, Inc., page 2

Our advice: file only through the official site above. Never pay anyone to file a claim for you, and be wary of look-alike claim pages.

It is also too late to opt out. The notice says the deadline to exclude yourself from the class has passed. The objection deadline passed on October 8.

Who is paying, and what the lawsuit alleged

Three companies are settling. Google is paying $48 million, Flo is paying $8 million, and Flurry is paying $3.5 million.

The case is Frasco v. Flo Health, Inc., No. 3:21-cv-00757-JD, in the Northern District of California. It alleged that Flo built in code from Flurry, Meta and Google software development kits. That code allegedly shared users’ menstruation and pregnancy information between November 2016 and February 2019.

The defendants deny the allegations. According to the notice, Google, Flurry and Flo have admitted no wrongdoing. They agreed to settle only to avoid the uncertainty, burden, cost and delay of more litigation. Meta is not part of these settlements.

How much will each claimant get?

Nobody knows yet. The notice says the per-person amount and the payment date are not yet known.

Several costs also come out of the $59.5 million first. These include notice and administration costs, taxes, service awards, attorneys’ fees and litigation expenses. Only the remainder is split among claimants.

Payments won’t arrive soon either. The court’s final approval hearing is set for October 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time. Money goes out only after approval and after any appeals are resolved.

That leaves claimants filing blind. The case involves some of the most sensitive data a phone app can hold, yet nobody can tell users what their claim is worth. Still, the deadline is firm, and missing it means getting nothing.
