Amazon has knocked $200 off the M5 MacBook Air, and according to deal tracker MacRumors the discount applies to every configuration of the line. The 13-inch model starts at $1,099 and the 15-inch at $1,299. MacRumors calls these the lowest prices it has seen on the M5 MacBook Air since Apple raised the line’s pricing.

Pricing and Availability
We checked both of these configurations against Amazon’s live listing price at the time of writing. Amazon deal pricing moves without notice, so confirm the figure on the product page before you buy.
- 13-inch M5 MacBook Air, 16GB unified memory, 512GB SSD, Midnight — $1,099 on Amazon
- 15-inch M5 MacBook Air, 16GB unified memory, 512GB SSD, Midnight — $1,299 on Amazon
MacRumors reports that nearly every color is in stock. Most delivery estimates land early next week, and Prime members may see faster shipping than that.
What you get at these prices
Both listings we verified are 2026 MacBook Air models built on Apple’s M5 chip. Each pairs 16GB of unified memory with a 512GB SSD, and both are in the Midnight finish.
Those are the two configurations we confirmed at these exact prices. MacRumors reports the $200 cut across the rest of the line too, but the figures above are the ones we checked ourselves.
Should you take it?
If you were already shopping an M5 MacBook Air, $200 is a straightforward saving on hardware Apple only recently repriced. A 512GB SSD also removes the main reason people regret buying a MacBook Air, which is running out of local storage a year in.
One thing to check before you click. This is a separate promotion from the M5 MacBook Air discount we covered on September 30, so read the current page price rather than assuming the two match.
