Apple has pushed the second public beta of iOS 27.2 to testers. Matching builds landed for iPadOS 27.2, macOS Golden Gate 27.2, tvOS 27.2 and watchOS 27.2. It arrives a day after developers got their third beta. The headline change for most people is the redesigned Health app, which is now in front of a much larger group of testers.

The redesigned Health app in iOS 27.2
Apple first showed this redesign at its September 2026 iPhone event. It adds two new tabs to Health, called Insights and Longevity. It also introduces a feature Apple calls Health Age.
Health Age is the part worth watching during the beta. It is the newest and least familiar piece of the redesign, and public beta is where most people will see it for the first time.
Siri AI adds five more languages
The revamped Siri now works in five additional languages in this build. Those are French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish. As of October 7, no further language list has surfaced from Apple.
The rest of it, in brief
- Apple TV app — new profile options.
- Platform parity — iPadOS, macOS Golden Gate, tvOS and watchOS all moved to their second public beta at the same time.
- Beta cadence — the public build landed one day behind developer beta 3.
How to get it, and when the final build lands
Enrolled devices can pull the build from Settings, then General, then Software Update. If you are not enrolled yet, sign up at beta.apple.com with your Apple Account first. Betas can break apps and drain battery, so avoid installing on a phone you depend on.
Apple has not announced a release date for the finished iOS 27.2. The one-day gap between developer beta 3 and this public build suggests the general release is not far off, though that is an inference rather than a schedule. If you would rather wait for the finished version, there is no real downside. Our recent iPhone 18 Pro Max coverage has more on Apple’s current software and hardware issues.
