Samsung’s festive-sale prices for Amazon’s Great Indian Festival and Flipkart’s Big Billion Days have surfaced ahead of the sales going live. The Galaxy A56 and A36 come out of it best. On SamMobile’s figures, the A56 drops to ₹31,999 and the A36 to ₹25,999, both below what they originally launched at. Not every model on the list looks that good.

One note on sourcing before the numbers. The prices below come from SamMobile, which credits a table shared by tipster Sanju Choudhary. We independently confirmed only two figures in the set, both of them current hiked prices, and we flag which ones below.
The A56 and A36 look like real cuts, per SamMobile
These are the two models where we can anchor part of the maths ourselves. Samsung India raised both phones’ prices mid-cycle. We confirmed those higher prices against Samsung India’s own buy pages on September 28.
- Galaxy A56, 8GB + 128GB — festive-sale price ₹31,999, against a current listed price of ₹44,999 (independently confirmed) and a launch price SamMobile puts at ₹41,999
- Galaxy A36, 8GB + 128GB — festive-sale price ₹25,999, against a current listed price of ₹36,999 (independently confirmed) and a launch price SamMobile puts at ₹32,999
If SamMobile’s launch figures are right, the A56 sells for ₹10,000 under its original price and the A36 for ₹7,000 under. That would be a real discount rather than a hike dressed up as one. We have not independently verified those original launch numbers. The direction of the saving therefore rests on SamMobile’s reporting. Our earlier report on the A56 and A36 price hike covers the increase itself.
The Galaxy F70 Pro shows the other pattern
The F70 Pro is the clearest counter-example on the list. Per SamMobile, its festive-sale price is ₹25,999, and its original launch price was also ₹25,999. In between, the listed price had climbed to ₹35,999.
So the ₹10,000 off is measured against the raised price, not the original one. A buyer paying the sale price pays exactly what the phone cost at launch.
Two other models follow a harsher version of the same pattern. SamMobile puts both the Galaxy M17e and the Galaxy F70e at ₹16,999 in the sale. Their stated launch prices were ₹11,749 and ₹12,499. Each was later raised to ₹17,499. On those numbers, the sale price sits above the original launch price in both cases.
This is why a percentage-off badge is close to useless during festive season. The reference price is whatever the seller listed most recently, and that number can move in the weeks before a sale. The only comparison worth making is against what the phone cost when it launched.
The rest of the list
Everything in this section comes from SamMobile’s table alone, with the stated launch price in brackets for context. We have not cross-checked these launch figures.
- Galaxy S26 — ₹74,999 (launch ₹87,999)
- Galaxy S25 Ultra — ₹84,999 (launch ₹1,29,999)
- Galaxy S25, 12GB + 128GB — ₹52,999 (launch ₹74,999)
- Galaxy S25 FE — ₹42,999 (launch ₹59,999)
- Galaxy Z Fold 7 — ₹1,29,999 (launch ₹1,74,999)
- Galaxy Z Fold 8 — ₹1,72,999 (launch ₹1,79,999)
- Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra — ₹1,92,999 (launch ₹1,99,999)
The spread here is worth reading carefully. The S25 line shows the deepest cuts, which fits a generation already succeeded by the S26. The two newest foldables move by ₹7,000 at most, which is barely a festive discount at all.
Two things to check before you buy
First, some of these prices need a separate coupon purchase. That is SamMobile’s own caveat. If you add a phone to your cart expecting the headline figure to appear automatically, it may not.
Second, neither sale has started yet, so none of these prices can be verified on a live listing today. Treat the whole table as advance information that may shift. Our write-up of the OnePlus festive sale pricing covers the same season from another brand.
