Vivo T5 Lite 5G launched in India: Price, Specs, and Availability

Vivo has officially launched the Vivo T5 Lite 5G in India, with the base 4GB/128GB variant priced at ₹19,999. The launch settles the pre-launch chatter that had pegged the phone at an expected ₹17,999 — that figure is now moot, and the confirmed starting price is ₹2,000 higher. The phone goes on sale from July 22, and the pitch is familiar for this segment: a very large 6,500mAh battery, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, and a 120Hz screen for around the ₹20,000 mark.

Vivo T5 Lite 5G price in India and availability

The phone comes in three configurations, confirmed as official launch pricing (specs match Vivo’s India product page for the T5 Lite 5G):

  • 4GB RAM + 128GB: ₹19,999
  • 6GB RAM + 128GB: ₹21,999
  • 6GB RAM + 256GB: ₹24,999

It goes on sale from July 22, 2026 at 12 PM IST via Flipkart, the Vivo India online store, and offline retail. Two colours are on offer: Twilight Shadow (a dark navy-black) and Wave Blue (a lighter blue with a cloud-like textured back).

The launch lands as Vivo tries to steady itself in the value segment after a rough quarter — we covered how Samsung held its lead while Xiaomi, OPPO and Vivo lost share in Q2 2026, and phones like this one are part of that response.

Launch offers

Vivo is running a ₹1,500 instant discount with Axis Bank, HDFC Bank or SBI cards — but note that this is valid only on the first day of sale (July 22), not an ongoing cut. Treat ₹19,999/₹21,999/₹24,999 as the real prices you’ll pay; the ₹1,500 off is a one-day, card-specific promo. Up to three months of no-cost EMI is available across all variants.

Vivo T5 Lite 5G specifications

The headline hardware feature is the 6,500mAh battery — large even by the standards of this segment — paired with 44W wired charging that Vivo rates at 50% in about 38 minutes, plus reverse wired charging. The display is a 6.74-inch IPS LCD, and it’s HD+ rather than full-HD, though it does run at 120Hz. The 50MP main camera sits alongside a 0.08MP auxiliary lens that exists mostly to pad the spec sheet.

One gap worth flagging at this price: there is no NFC. If you rely on tap-to-pay or a contactless transit/metro card, that’s a real day-to-day limitation to weigh before buying. On software, the phone ships with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 — that’s the current stable Android release, since Android 17 is still in beta, so this isn’t a version behind.

  • Display: 6.74-inch IPS LCD, HD+ (720 x 1600), 120Hz, 1,200 nits peak
  • Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G (6nm), octa-core
  • RAM/Storage: up to 6GB + 256GB, UFS 2.2, microSD up to 2TB, virtual RAM extension
  • Battery: 6,500mAh, 44W wired charging, reverse wired charging
  • Rear camera: 50MP (f/1.8) main + 0.08MP auxiliary, LED flash
  • Front camera: 5MP (f/2.2)
  • Software: OriginOS 6, based on Android 16
  • Durability: IP65 water/dust resistance, MIL-STD-810H certified
  • Connectivity: Dual 5G SIM, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C, GPS, FM radio — no NFC
  • Security: Side-mounted fingerprint sensor
  • Dimensions/weight: 167.40 x 77.10 x 8.39mm, 209g
