Moto has launched the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra and Moto Razr 40 in India. We find out everything that you need to know about the foldable phones.

Motorola Razr 40 Ultra price in India

The internal display on the Moto Razr 40 is a 6.9-inches Full HD+ pOLED panel with a resolution of 2640 x 1080 pixels. It has a 165Hz Refresh Rate, 5000000:1 Contrast Ratio, supports HDR10+, 1400 nits brightness, and DCI-P3 color gamut. The foldable phone has an 85.5% screen-to-body ratio with a 22:9 Aspect Ratio. The external screen on the device is a 1.47-inches display with a 194 x 368 pixels resolution and 60 Hz Refresh Rate.

The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 octa-core processor clocked @3.20 GHz. It has an Adreno 644 GPU, and runs on Android 13 out of the box. The Motorola Razr 40 has 8 GB and 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, with 128 GB / 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

The dual camera array on the rear of the Moto Razr 40 consists of a 64 megapixels main camera that has an f/1.8 aperture, and a 13 megapixels macro/ultra wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture, 108° FoV, and an LED flash. The cameras support Optical Image Stablization (OIS), and UHD video recording at 60 frames per second and Full HD videos at 30fps. The front camera on the phone is a 32 megapixels snapper that has an f/2.4 aperture and supports Face unlock.

Connectivity-wise, the Motorola Razr 40 supports 5G and 4G LTE mobile networks, with the following 5G bands (sub-6)N1/2/3/5/7/8/20/26/28/38/40/41/66/77/78. It also supports NFC, Wi-Fi 6e 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, 2.4GHz/5GHz, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, A-GPS, LTEPP, SUPL, GLONASS, Galileo, and Beidou location services. Motorola has packed a 4200 mAh battery in the Razr 40, it charges via a USB Type-C port, supports 30W Fast Charging, and Wireless charging.

The foldable phone has a clamshell design and is rated IP I52 for dust and splash resistance. Sensors on the mobile include a fingerprint scanner, a gravity sensor, an ambient light sensor, a proximity sensor, a gyroscope, an electronic compass, and an X-axis linear motor. The phone measures 170.83 x 73.95 x 7.35 mm, and weighs at 188.6g.

Moto Razr 40 Ultra vs Moto Razr 40 differences

The Moto Razr 40 Ultra has a bigger external screen at 3.6-inches with a 1066 x 1056 pixels resolution, and a 144 Hz refresh rate.

The flagship foldable mobile device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 octa-core processor clocked at 2.5 GHz. It has an Adreno 730 GPU, 8 GB / 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 256 GB / 512 GB UFS 3.1 of storage. The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra has a smaller battery which has a capacity of 3800 mAh. There are some differences between the 5G bands that the two phones support.

Motorola Razr 40 Ultra and Razr 40 price in India

The Motorola Razr 40 price in India starts at Rs. 59,999. Motorola has set the price of the Moto Razr 40 Ultra at Rs. 89,999. The foldable devices will be available for purchase on July 15th on Amazon and Motorola’s websites. Buyers can avail a cashback of Rs. 5,000 off of the standard model, and Rs. 7,000 off when buying the Ultra model using an ICICI Bank Credit Card.

The Lenovo-owned company has put up the phones (Standard and Ultra) for pre-order on its website.
