Motorola has introduced the Moto Edge 30 Pro in India. The flagship phone, which debuted as the Moto Edge X30 in China, is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, clocked at 3.0GHz.
The device sports a 6.7″ Full HD+ AMOLED display that supports a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The screen supports 144 Hz Refresh Rate, 576Hz Touch Sampling Rate. The panel is rated for HDR 10+, 10-bit Colour, DCI-P3 Colour Gamut, and supports 700 nits brightness, 88.50% Screen-to-body ratio, and has a 20:09 Aspect Ratio.
The Motorola Edge 30 Pro has 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. The handset runs on Android 12 with MyUX 3.0. Motorola has only promised 2 years on Android OS updates for the Moto Edge 30 Pro. The device will be updated to Android 13 and Android 14 when they are available. The Lenovo-owned company has stated it will provide security updates for 3 years.
The Edge 30 Pro packs a 4800 mAh battery that supports 68W TurboPower fast charging, capable of delivering over 50% charge in 15 minutes, via a USB Type-C port. The device also supports 15W TurboPower Wireless charging, and 5W reverse power sharing. The phone is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The selfie camera on the phone is a 60MP f/2.2 aperture sensor. Moving to the rear panel, the Moto Edge 30 Pro features a triple camera array that consists of a 50 megapixels primary sensor with an f/1.88 aperture, Phase Detect Auto Focus, Optical Image Stabilization, a 50MP 117° ultra-wide angle lens that has an f/2.2 aperture, Auto Focus, and a 2MP lens with an LED Flash. The phone measures 163.56 x 75.95 x 8.49mm, and weighs 194g. It does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Motorola has priced the Edge 30 Pro at Rs. 49,999 in India. The device will be available for purchase from March 4th on Flipkart. It comes in 2 colours: Cosmos Blue and Stardust White.
