Redmi Note 11 Pro and Pro+ with 120Hz AMOLED, 108MP cameras launched in China

Redmi unveiled its Note 11 series, today in China. Say hello to the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G and Note 11 Pro+ 5G

Redmi Note 11 Pro design

Unlike the regular version’s LCD screen the Pro models are equipped with a 6.6-inches Full HD+ AMOLED display. The screen supports a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, 1200nits brightness, DCI-P3 colour gamut, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The device runs on  MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11, with a 6nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G processor, and a Mali-G68 MC4 GPU.

The phone comes with 6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 storage. In terms of connectivity, the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Pro+ 5G support 5Gm 4G mobile networks, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac Dual Band 2.4/5GHz, Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC.

The selfie lens is a 16MP sensor, like the regular model. But the rear camera setup on the Note 11 Pro and Pro+ 5G are different. They have a triple camera array with a Cameras 108MP Samsung HM2 sensor, an 8MP 120° ultra-wide angle lens, a 2MP telemacro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, and an LED Flash. Both devices have a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The phones have linear speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack and support Dolby Atmos. The audio set up has a Sound by JBL branding, aka it has been tuned by JBL.

The only difference between the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro+ is that the Pro model has a 5160mAh battery that supports 67W Fast Charging over a USB Type-C port. The Note 11 Pro+ uses the same connector, but supports 120W fast charging to charge the 4500 mAh battery in it.

Redmi Note 11 Pro series price in China

The Note 11 Pro 5G 6GB/128GB variant has been priced at RMB 1599 (about Rs. 19,000), while the 8GB/128GB version carries a price tag of RMB 1899 yuan (about Rs. 22,000). The 8GB/256GB model costs RMB 2099 (around Rs. 25,000). The phone will be available in 4 colourways: Black, Blue, Green, and Purple.

Redmi’s Note 11 Pro+ price in China starts at RMB 1899 (about Rs. 22000) for the 6GB/128GB model, while the 8GB/128GB version costs RMB 2099 (around Rs. 25,000.). The top-end variant with 8GB/256GB will retail for RMB 2299 (around Rs. 27,000).  The device comes in 3 colour options: Black, Green, and Purple.
