The successor to the Micromax In 1b is official. This is the next-gen entry-level smartphone in the series, the Micromax In 2b, which the company terms as the no-hang phone.

The Micromax In 2b is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T610 processor, with an ARM Mali G52 2C. It has 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage.
The In 2b runs on Android 11, and Micromax has promised 2 years of upgrades for the device.

The Micromax In 2b price in India starts at Rs. 7,999 for the 4GB/64GB model, while the 6GB/64GB variant costs Rs. 8,999. The phone will be available for purchase on Flipkart and Micromax’s website from 6th August.
