Google has announced its latest phones in the Pixel series. Meet the Google Pixel 4a 5G and the Pixel 5.
The Search Giant had released the 4G version of the Pixel 4a about 2 months ago.
Google Pixel 4a 5G
The Google Pixel 4a 5G boasts better specs, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G octa-core processor with an Adreno 620 GPU, 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 128GB of storage. The handset is equipped with a 6.2 inches Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 413 PPI, 100,000:1 Contrast Ratio, HDR and Corning Gorilla Glass 3.The screen has an 8MP punch-hole lens in the top left corner of the screen, with an f/2.0 aperture and 83° FOV.
The Pixal 4a 5G runs on Android 11 out of the box and will get 3 years of OS and security updates. The phone is backed by a 3885 mAh battery which charges over a USB Type-C port that supports USB-PD 2.0 and 18W fast charging.
The camera set up on the device consists of a 12.2MP dual-pixel main camera with an f/1.7 aperture, 77° FOV, 1.4µm Pixel Size and a 16MP ultrawide lens 1.0µm Pixel Size, f/2.2 aperture, 107° FOV, with an LED Flash. The Google Pixel 4a 5G has a headphone jack. The device has a rear-facing fingerprint scanner.

Google Pixel 4a 5G price
The Google Pixel 4a 5G has been priced at $499 (unlocked) in the US, and comes in 2 colors, Just Black and Clearly White. The device will be available from October 15th in Japan and from November in the following Countries: Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Taiwan, United Kingdom, United States.
Google Pixel 5
Unlike previous phones in the series, the Google Pixel 5 is not a flagship phone. It is a mid-range device that has the same OS, processor, storage and cameras as the 4a 5G, but the Pixel 5 has 8GB of RAM, and is backed by a 4080 mAh battery that supports Fast Wireless Charging. The display is a 6.0 inches Full HD+Flexible AMOLED panel with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, with 432 PPI, 1,000,000:1 Contrast Ratio, HDR, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6.
The Pixel 5 does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device has been rated for Water Resistance.

Google says that the phone will be available from October 15h in Australia, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and from October 19th in Canada and the United States.
