The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 512GB variant is apparently real. And the phone’s prices have been leaked ahead of launch.

We have to warn you, the prices is not for the faint of heart. Samsung will reportedly price the Galaxy Note 9 512GB for about 1250 Euros. That is about Rs. 1,00,00 or $1460 or 1150 GBP. No, you didn’t read that wrong and it is no typo. The Galaxy Note 9 512GB will be available in Black and Blue colours in Europe.

The picture you see above is the Note 9, which was recently outed by evleaks.

Apart from the price of the Galaxy Note 9 512GB, the base model’s price has also been leaked. The Galaxy Note 9 base variant will not have 64GB, instead the phone will start at 128GB. And the price will be 1050 Euros. That translates to Rs. 85,000 or 950 GBP or $1227. The basic variant will be available in three colours: Black, Blue and Purple in Europe.

How does that compare to the previous version’s prices? Since the Galaxy Note 9 512GB is the first 512GB phone from the South Korean company, we cannot compare it with other variants.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was launched for Rs. 67,900 in India (for the 64GB variant). If the rumoured price is true, we are anticipating a Rs. 17,000 hike in the pricing of the next gen variant. Likewise, the Galaxy Note 8 was priced at $930 during launch for the unlocked variant. The leaked price shows a nearly $300 increase.

We already know thanks to a leaked poster, that the phone will have a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 4000mAh battery and an improved S-Pen which reportedly has Bluetooth functionality. The device is expected to be made available as soon as August 24th in its home turf. A handful of leaked case renders confirmed that the design of the Note 9 will be similar to the Note 8. Word is that the Galaxy Note 9 512GB and 128GB are the only storage options planned, with no 256GB version, at least for the European markets.

In case you didn’t know, Samsung has scheduled a Galaxy Unpacked event on August 9th. So, we can expect to hear more about the Galaxy Note 9 512GB variant and its prices, over the next few weeks.

By the way, the Galaxy Note 9 512GB is not the first 512GB phone. That honor belongs to the Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design, a special version of the Huawei P20, which was launched in March 2018.
