Just few days back, an alleged OnePlus 5T Antutu benchmark screenshot had leaked on the web and reported by most publications around the world including Androidpure. While reporting that alleged OnePlus 5T Antutu benchmark, we did share our apprehension about authenticity of the leak as it was not coming from Antutu official channels or their official weibo handle. It seems our apprehensions were right and today, Antutu Official weibo handle has clarified that the alleged OnePlus 5T Antutu benchmark leak was fake and at the moment, there is no sign of any OnePlus 5T in their benchmark database.

Check out the screenshot above where official Antutu Weibo handle clarifies in response to someone quoting the alleged leak. Even after this clarification, the mystery around OnePlus 5T remains and we still have not seen any official confirmation of the existence of the device. Even some of the other prominent OnePlus 5T leaks have come from same source or website and with this clarification, we are more apprehensive on these leaks.

OnePlus 5T is rumored to offer a minor hardware bump over OnePlus 5 with the major differentiator of a 18:9 display having resolution of 1080 x 2160 i.e. FHD+ display and is powered by same Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with Adreno 540 GPU and 8GB of RAM. It comes with 128GB of internal storage and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo based operating system with Oxygen OS on top.

In terms of camera, it comes with 20MP camera sensors both at front and rear. OnePlus 5 front camera is a 16 MP shooter which means that OnePlus 5T will be getting an upgrade for the front shooter. Thanks to the 18:9 display, the fingerprint sensor is expected to be placed on the rear panel and there won’t be any home button at front.

We will keep tracking these leaks and rumors on OnePlus 5T. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
