After loads of leaks and rumours, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is now official. Xiaomi unveiled their second generation Full-screen Mi Mix smartphone i.e. Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 at a launch event in China. Xiaomi has made some significant changes compared to the earlier variant such as the display size of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is smaller at 6.0 inches instead of 6.4 inches of Mi Mix. Similarly, the battery capacity of Mi Mix 2 is 3400 mAh instead of 4,000 mAh.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 sports a 6.0-inch Full HD+ 18:9 display with a resolution of 2160 × 1080 pixels (earlier variant came with a 17:9 Aspect ratio display) and is powered by 2.45GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform with Adreno 540 GPU along with 6 GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB / 128GB / 256GB of internal storage and runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) based operating system with MIUI 9 on top. There is even a Special Edition of the device featuring full ceramic body and comes with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
In terms of camera, Mi Mix 2 features a 12MP main rear camera having a Sony IMX386 sensor with f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, 4-axis OIS, 4K video recording and another 5 MP front shooter for selfies & video calls. The fingerprint sensor is located the rear just below the main rear camera.

The special Edition of Mi Mix 2 with 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM is priced at 4,699 yuan (~US$ 720 / Rs. 46,000).
