We are just few hours away from the official launch of Xiaomi Mi 6 / Mi 6 Plus on April 19 at University of Technology, Beijing, China. Just ahead of the official launch of the Xiaomi flagship device, a new set of images have surfaced on the web which show the front panel of Mi 6 the front display of the device with closeup shots revealing some of the finer details and design.
The leaked images show the Mi 6 top bezels which are wide enough and show the front camera along with the speakers at top. A vertical slot at top appears to be the rumored Iris Scanner, though it seems similar to a dual camera module, but we think it’s the Iris Scanner. In the second image, we can see the curved display of MI 6 at the bottom of the screen in addition to the curved display at the sides. This matches with Xiaomi teasers which indicated curved display on all four sides of Mi 6. The USB C type port along with Speaker grills are visible.

Apart from the two images above, another set of images have leaked ( Weibo Source Link Deleted now)allegedly showing the rehearsal of Xiaomi Mi 6 launch. The images show the device both from front and back, but the quality of images are not good. Yet we can clearly see the dual camera on the back panel and Home button at front along with usual bezels at top & bottom.
Xiaomi Mi 6 is rumored to feature a 5.15 inch Full HD 1080p display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with two variants of RAM & internal storage i.e. a 4 GB RAM + 64 GB / 128 GB ROM and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB ROM variant. In terms of camera, it features a 19 MP main rear camera with Sony IMX 400 sensor and another 8 MP front shooter for selfies. It is backed by a battery of 3200 mAh capacity.
Whereas Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus is rumored to feature a 5.70 inch Full HD 1080p display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with 6 GB of RAM. It comes in three variants of internal storage i.e. 64 GB / 128 GB / 256 GB ROM. In terms of camera, it features a 12 MP main rear camera with Sony IMX 362 sensor and another 8 MP front shooter for selfies. It is backed by a bigger battery of 4500 mAh capacity.
