Samsung announced their next flagship devices Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ just a day before. Both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ come with 4 GB of RAM and Samsung has not announced any 6 GB RAM variant for any of these devices, though earlier rumors had suggested a 6 GB RAM variants also, at least for the Chinese and Korean market. The TENAA listing of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ just few hours before the official launch does indicate a 6 GB RAM variant.
Apart from the TENAA listing, we have no other official confirmation of any 6 GB RAM variants for Samsung flagship devices. But today, some screenshots have surfaced on the web which allegedly are of Galaxy S8+ “RAM Management” screen which shows that the total RAM available on the device is 6 GB out of which only 2.9 GB RAM is used by the device. These screenshots confirm the existence of a 6 GB RAM variant of Samsung Galaxy S8+.
Samsung Galaxy S8 sports a 5.80 inch display with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 2960 pixels and 570 ppi pixel density. It is powered by 1.9 GHz octa-core Samsung Exynos 8895 processor / Snapdragon 835 processor and 4 GB of RAM. It comes with 64 GB of internal storage along with support for expandable storage via microsd card up to 256 GB. In terms of camera, Samsung Galaxy S8 packs a 12-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
