HTC Alpine (HTC U Play) specifications leak ahead of official launch

HTC is expected to announce its ‘U’ series with three new smartphones on January 12 i.e. HTC U Ultra, U Play and One X10. Out of these three smartphones, HTC U Ultra is rumored to be a flagship device with high end specifications with 6.0 inch display and without 3.5 mm Audio jack. HTC U Play is rumored to be a mid range device with decent specifications.

Today a new rumor originating from Weibo gives us a sneak peek into the specifications of the device. As per this rumor, HTC Alpine (HTC U Play) sports a 5.2 inch full HD 1080p display, powered by Mediatek MT6755 processor i.e. Helio P10 along with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. In terms of camera, it sports a 16 main rear camera and another 16 MP front shooter for selfies.It is backed by a 2,500 mAh battery and comes with fingerprint sensor on the front.

The flagship device that is expected to be unveiled on same day i.e. HTC Ocean Note (U Ultra) is rumored to sport 6.0 inch WQHD display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8998 processor along with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage. It comes with a dual camera setup of 24 MP + 13 MP camera sensors at back and another 16 MP front shooter for selfies. It is backed by a 4,000 mAh battery and comes with a fingerprint sensor at back.
