Square Enix Montreal has officially announced the launch date of its newest game, Deus Ex Go, for Android devices. The game follows in the footsteps of other “GO” games in the series Hitman Go and and Lara Croft Go, which featured the popular characters Agent 47 and the female protagonist from the Tomb Raider series respectively.
And just like the other two GO games, Deus Ex Go will also involve turn based gameplay for movement and combat, across levels filled with enemies and obstacles. It is an infiltration puzzle game, and also includes hacking and augmentations just like the PC versions did.
The protagonist from Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Adam Jensen, is the star of Deus Ex Go. Here is a video trailer of the game:
Deus Ex Go will be released for Android and iOS devices on August 18th.
