If you own either of OnePlus one or OnePlus 2 smartphones, here is some good news for you. OnePlus has announced the Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade schedule for OnePlus devices except for the recently launched Oneplus X.
As per the official announcement, both the devices will be updated in the first quarter of 2016. Cyanogen OS on oneplus one will be updating to Marshmallow and the update for oneplus 2 will include the new standard Marshmallow API for the fingerprint sensor.
For Oneplus X update, there is no official announcement yet and will be announced later on.
The only rider in this announcement though is, that no specific dates is announced. But even if the update arrives at the end of the first quarter, it should be fine for most users if not all.
