InFocus India has announced that it will be updating its flagship device, the InFocus M812, and the budget friendly M370 to Android Marshmallow next month.
The InFocus M812 was launched in late September, while the M370 was launched in late July.
The former came with Infocus InLife UI 2.0 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop , and the latter with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. Both devices will be receiving the Android 6.0 Marhmallow Update in December. The company has not given an exact ETA, but the picture does say something about “Date of Activation 31st Dec 2015”. We’re not sure what that means, but perhaps it is a self imposed deadline which the company plans to meet.
Nevertheless, it makes InFocus one of the few OEMs to announce the update roadmap so quickly.
