HTC has just announced a mid range HTC Desire 826 Dual SIM smartphone in India priced at Rs. 26,900 (~$420). It will be available at major retailers in India by end of this month and will roll out in other regions over subsequent months.
Desire 826 Dual SIM sports 5.5-inch display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and is powered by Octa-Core (1.7 GHz & 1.0 GHz) Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor along with Adreno 405 GPU. It comes with 2 GB of RAM along with 16 GB internal storage along with support for expandable memory via microSD cards up to 128GB. In terms of operating system, it runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI on top of it.
It comes with a 13 MP rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, BSI sensor and HTC Ultrapixel front-facing camera with f.2.2 aperture, wide-angle lens. In terms of dimensions, it is 7.9 mm tick with overall dimensions being 158 x 77.5 x 7.9 mm and weighs 183 grams.
It is powered by an embedded 2600 mAh Li-polymer battery. It comes with support for 4G/ 3G/ 2G, WiFi and Bluetooth. It comes with dual SIM support (Dual Nano SIMs).
Additionally it also comes with HTC BoomSound, Dual frontal stereo speakers with built-in amplifiers and Dolby Audio.
