Asus Zenfone 4 targeting Moto E consumers launched in India for Rs. 5,999

With the launch of Moto E Android Smartphone, the consumers got a  decent entry level smartphone with almost low budget. Moto E was able to capture a prominent space in entry level smartphone market in India and other countries. Asus Zenfone 4 is launched today in India and it clearly targets the same consumer base that Moto E targeted and infact at a price point lower than even Moto E. Asus Zenfone 4 entry model is priced at just Rs. 5,999 giving it a clear advantage in terms of pricing and we will keep a tab on how far it succeeds in getting consumers as Moto E did.

Asus Zenfone 4 is available in two models i.e A450CG  and A400CG with the A450CG model being superior to A400CG in terms of hardware specifications. The major difference between the two version lies in the display size, the front camera, Battery and the operating System.

ZenFone 4 (two variants) sports 4-inch and 4.5 inch display and is powered by 1 2GHz Intel Atom Z2520 processor with Quad-Thread Hyper-Threading Technology and supported by 1 GB of RAM. Both the models comes with two built in cameras as mentioned in the specifications above with the 8MP and 5 MP front camera in the two variants of the device respectively.

ZenFone 4 will be available in five fun colors i.e Charcoal Black, Pearl White, Cherry Red, Sky Blue, Solar Yellow exclusively at Flipkart at a price of Rs. 5,999 and Rs. 6,999 respectively.

We will try to compare the ASUS Zenfone 4 with Motorola Moto E soon to see how it fares in comparison in terms of Hardware and performance.
