Flipboard for Android just received an update which will help you conserve data usage and also allow you to fetch summaries for articles for offline reading.
The latest update for Flipboard has introduced a new option, which will allow you to use limited data for fetching articles. You can find it under Settings> Reduce Data Usage.
Readers on the move have an extra reason to rejoice, as the update also brings an option to fetch the summaries of articles, which you can view while you are offline. This option can be used for all sections or particular ones which you want.

The changelog also mentioned some bug fixes and improvents. We are not sure what they have fixed though.
