Earlier today

After long speculation, we finally have the official launch date for OnePlus 6. The company has just announced that they will be officially launching their next flagship device OnePlus 6 in China on May 17. We expect the launch to happen in other countries such as India on similar date with a gap of one or two days.  The launch teaser / Invite comes with a tagline of “The Speed You Need”.

The teaser also suggests a ticket sales for fans starting on 27th April just as the case with OnePlus recent launches. At the moment, we do not have exact launch date for India though rumors suggest a May 18 launch date.

OnePlus 6 is expected to feature a 6.2 inch display powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor along with 6GB / 8GB RAM with internal storage reaching up to 256GB. In terms of camera, it is expected to feature a 20MP+ 16MP dual camera. Other features include support for full-screen gestures and ability to hide the navigation bar and IP67 / IP68 certification. There is an Avengers Infinity War edition of OnePlus 6 planned which may be launched later on.

At the moment, we do not have more information about the hardware specification of OnePlus 6 except the rumors. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
