Skype, the ever popular voice-over-Internet Protocol service, just added what could be a very important feature to their Android application, support for Android Tablets. Support for tablets isn’t the only new feature in Skype, they have added support for a new wideband audio codec which is called, SILK. skype have said that the new audio codec has been included to cope with various internet speeds and shaky connections and ensure that the audio quality remains the best.

You can also sign into Skype with your Microsoft account and get your Messenger, Hotmail & Outlook contacts in one place. No surprises here, since Microsoft have already announced that Skype will replace Windows Live Messenger.
