Realme 3 Flipkart teaser page confirms Battery and Waterdrop notch

Realme 3 landing page at Flipkart is now live and confirms some of the basic hardware specifications of the phone. We have already reported that the new phone from Realme is powered by MediaTek Helio P70 processor which is now confirmed again by the Flipkart listing. Apart from the processor, the landing page also confirms that Realme 3 Features a waterdrop notch display and is backed by a 4,230 mAh battery.

Realme 3 with Helio P70 official launch date announced

Just three days back, Realme teased a new smartphone promo teaser from their social media channels which clearly revealed as Realme 3. The company has released some more teasers of the upcoming phones that confirm some basic features such as Camera and Processor. The latest teaser reveals the launch date of Realme 3 which will officially launch in India next month i.e. March 2019. As per the launch teaser posted by the company on Twitter, it will officially launch in India on March 4.

Even though the company is yet to reveal specific details of the phone, an official teaser confirmed the real panel design of the phone. As per teaser, Realme 3 features a dual camera module at the rear. The dual camera module along with LED flash is aligned vertically on the left side while the fingerprint sensor module is present at the conventional position on the rear panel. The Realme 3 will run on ColorOS 6.0, which is based on Android 9 Pie.

The third generation of Realme will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 processor. The information comes from a tweet from Realme CEO Madhav Seth (the tweet is now deleted). Along with the image which compares MediaTek Helio P70 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, he made the following statement:

Have seen many interesting speculations recently. Here’s one correct answer: Realme 3 will have Helio P70 SOC. I believe it is the best mid-ranger.

Rumours suggest that it may come in two processor variants with the India model powered by MediaTek Helio P70 SoC chip while the global variant having an Helio P60 chipset. At the moment not much is known about the hardware specifications of the phone. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
