No, Motorola Moto M is not coming with 5100 mAh battery

We could have avoided doing this story but couldn’t, thanks to worldwide tech coverage by big blogs, portals, of a Motorola Moto M leak and its misinterpretation. A whole lot of tech blogs / sites are reporting at the moment that upcoming Motorola Moto M is coming with a big battery of 5100 mAh which is huge. These stories are based on @krispitech tweet which comes with a specification sheet of a smartphone and “December” as the tweet.

Everyone is reporting it as specifications of upcoming Motorola Moto M, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 with 4GB of RAM & 64GB of eMMC storage backed by a 5100 mAh battery.

The problem here is, the image of specifications attached in the source tweet as reproduced above represent the technical specifications of Lenovo P2 and not Motorola Moto M. The clarification was issued by @krispitech himself after almost every big tech blog / site covered that as Moto M specs.

So every story of Moto M based on that tweet is far from truth and perhaps everyone should have done some checks before reporting it.
