Rumors around Motorola Moto M are floating on the web for last many months in spite of no official confirmation or denial of the device public launch happening soon. We have already seen a TENAA listing of allegedly Motorola Moto M XT1662 revealing full technical specifications of the device, yet we got no clue when “Moto by Lenovo” will finally launch it officially.
Today we have spotted two new images allegedly of the upcoming Moto M on Chinese social network Weibo. Two images come from two different sources, first being a real image of Moto M in powered on state of the home screen whereas the second image is a render of the Moto M showing the device design and build from both front and back side.
The first image shows the full front display with on-screen navigation buttons instead of physical button and with front camera at the top. The Moto logo is at the bottom without any home button. The back panel image show the Moto “M” logo at bottom with the camera at the top along with fingerprint sensor below that. The design looks nice and appears to be metallic uni-body as suggested by earlier rumors.
These images match with the device images listed on TENAA. Have a look.
Based on earlier TENAA listing, Moto M sports a 5.5 inch full HD TFT display, powered by 2.2 GHz octa-core processor along with 4 GB of RAM. It comes with internal storage of 32 GB / 64 GB along with support for expandable storage via microsd card and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
It comes with 16 MP main rear camera & 8 MP front shooter for selfies. and supports 4G LTE along with VOLTE. There is a 3.5 mm audio jack present. It measures 151 × 75 × 8 (mm) and weighs 163 grams. It is backed by a battery of 3,000 mAh and will be available in Gold and silver color options.
