LG is set to unveil a new series of pocket-friendly smartphones i.e. LG W series in India. It appears that brands like Xiaomi, Honor, Realme has compelled other brands to choose the budget-friendly smartphone route to gain back the eroding market share. Samsung did that with their Galaxy M series devices in India and now LG is following that with LG W series devices. The company is yet to announce an official launch date but the landing page is now live on Amazon India which reveals some of the basic details about the smartphone.
The official landing page of LG W series on Amazon reveal the triple camera module along with LED flash on the rear panel, aligned vertically on the top left side. The teaser image also reveals that the phone will be available in three colours i.e. Blue, Green and Black/Grey as shown below. LG may call these colours by their own names.
Another image reveals that the triple camera module is AI enabled with support for different camera modes such as Normal, Front camera selfie, Night Mode, Portrait, Bokeh and Wide Angle image capabilities. The conventional fingerprint sensor is visible at the usual place on the rear panel. Antenna lines are visible at top side while the Power button & Volume rocker buttons are present on the left side.
Coming to the Display, a teaser image reveals the waterdrop display of the device that comes with option of customizing the notch or hiding the notch as per your need. AT the moment, not much is known about the hardware specifications of the phone.
The teaser page at Amazon India hints at pocket-friendly pricing of the phone and claims that it will have “Never before Prices”.
