Indian OEM, Intex, has thrown its hat, with a new phone with 3GB RAM in the sub-10000 Rupees segment.
The Intex Cloud Swift could prove to be some competition for the Coolpad Note 3, though the latter does have the advantage of a fingerprint sensor.
The Intex Cloud Swift flaunts a 5-Inch HD IPS 720p Display, with a pixel density of 320ppi, and is protected by Dragontrail Glass. The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, with HotKnot, Smart Wake and Air Shuffle gestures. It is is powered by a 64-bit Quad core MT6735A processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 3GB DDR3 RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. The phone comes with 16GB of internal storage, with support for expandable memory upto 128GB microSD.
The Intex Cloud Swift sports an 8 megapixels rear camera with autofocus and a single LED Flash, and a 5 megapixels front camera. The Intex Cloud Swift is a 4G enabled phone (FDD BandIII, TDD Band 40), and also supports 2G/3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity options.
The phone measures at 144.5 x 72.5 x 8.9 mm in dimensions, and weighs 140g.
The Intex Cloud Swift has been priced at Rs. 8,888 and will be sold exclusively through Snapdeal via flash sales. The registration for the sale is open now, and the phone will be on-sale from 20th October.
