A set of leaked renders and a full spec sheet point to an unannounced HMD Pulse 2T Pro. Its standout feature is a dot-matrix display on the back panel. The leak comes from X user @smashx_60, whom GSMArena describes as a reliable source of HMD information. HMD has not announced the phone, so treat every number below as unconfirmed.

The Dot-Matrix Rear Display
The renders show a small pixel-grid panel on the back, next to the dual camera module. Nothing in the leak explains what it does. Rival phones use this kind of secondary display for notification glyphs, charging status, and simple animations. It is also the clearest way to tell this model apart from the standard Pulse 2 Pro in a product photo. That is probably half the point.

How It Compares to the Pulse 2 Pro
Worth noting up front: the regular Pulse 2 Pro is not official either, so this is one leak measured against another. On those terms, the 2T Pro is an upgrade on every axis that matters. The screen moves from LCD to a larger OLED panel. The chipset moves from a Unisoc T615 to MediaTek’s Helio G100. There is more RAM and storage, a newer Android version, and a battery roughly 20 percent bigger.
That is a meaningful jump for a mid-range phone, and the Helio G100 swap is the part a buyer would actually feel day to day. The compromise on the sheet is UFS 2.2 storage. It is common at this tier, but it remains the slowest link in the chain. The leak says nothing about pricing, and nothing about which markets would get the 2T Pro.
That makes availability the real open question rather than the specs. HMD’s recent record in India, including the Vibe 2 Pro, suggests the brand is still pushing hard at this end of the market.
