Google has priced the Fitbit Air for India at ₹13,999, with sales starting on October 2. That is roughly $146, and it arrives almost five months after the screenless tracker launched globally in May 2026. Four colours are listed: Obsidian, Berry, Lavender and Fog.
The Fitbit Air has no screen. It is a band you wear and forget, with the data living in the companion app rather than on your wrist. That is the whole pitch, and it puts the device up against subscription-based wearables like Whoop.
Fitbit Air Pricing and Availability in India
The official India price is ₹13,999, and the on-sale date is October 2. There is one wrinkle buyers should know about. Android Central reports that resellers had the Fitbit Air listed at around ₹12,999 ahead of the official launch.
So if you saw a figure near ₹13,000 circulating over the past few weeks, Google’s own price comes in about ₹1,000 above it. That earlier number was a reseller listing, never an official Google price. Worth factoring in if you had mentally budgeted for the lower one.
No Subscription Required
This is the part that separates the Fitbit Air from its closest competition. The tracker does not require a paid subscription to function. Whoop, the most direct rival in the screenless-band category, is a subscription product by design.
Wearable makers increasingly put core health insights behind a recurring fee. A one-time hardware purchase with no mandatory plan is a genuine consumer win, and it is the strongest argument for the ₹13,999 price.

The Fitbit Air tracks:

One caveat on that list. Health features tied to regulatory clearance, irregular heart rhythm notifications in particular, do not always go live in every market on day one. Launch reports do not say which of these are active in India from October 2. Check the app’s own feature availability before buying specifically for AFib alerts.
