One UI 9.0 Beta 2 Lands on Galaxy S25 With Four New AI Features

Samsung has released the second One UI 9.0 beta for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, about a week after the Android 17-based beta program opened for the series. The update is rolling out in South Korea first, and it adds four Galaxy AI features that were previously exclusive to newer Samsung devices.

What’s new in Beta 2

The build, S93xNKSUCZZI4, weighs in at 643.16MB and brings four Galaxy AI features to the S25 lineup for the first time:

  • Call Brief — shows contextual information and related events directly on the call screen during a conversation.
  • Custom Cards in Now Brief — lets you build your own daily briefing card using data from Samsung Health, Samsung Weather, and YouTube.
  • Now Nudge — reads what’s on screen in real time and suggests a next action without switching apps.
  • My FanCam — automatically tracks and re-centers a chosen person when replaying saved video.

All four features debuted on the Galaxy S26 series and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8 earlier this year. Beta 2 is what brings them to the S25 series, a generation that launched without them. Samsung’s beta changelog for this build also lists bug fixes: corrected Bixby Vision translation errors, fewer temporary crashes in the Contacts app, and improvements to dropped Wi-Fi connections.

Rollout and how to get it

Samsung is pushing Beta 2 to South Korea first, consistent with how the program opened at the start of September. Other regions enrolled in the One UI 9.0 beta program should see the update follow within the day, though Samsung hasn’t published a specific rollout schedule for markets outside Korea.

To check for it, S25 series owners already enrolled in the Samsung Members beta program can go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. If you haven’t joined the beta yet, enrollment happens through the Samsung Members app, and it’s worth remembering that beta software can carry bugs the stable release won’t have — it’s not the release to install on a phone you depend on daily.
