Motorola will launch the Moto G77 Power in India on July 8, the company confirmed this week through a Flipkart microsite and its own teasers. The pitch is simple: a 7,000mAh battery that Motorola claims will run for three days on a charge, in a phone teased to be priced under ₹30,000.
That battery figure is the headline for a reason. Most phones in the ₹20,000–30,000 bracket still ship 5,000–5,500mAh cells, so a 7,000mAh unit puts the G77 Power among the largest batteries you can buy in this segment — useful if you are a heavy commuter, a delivery or field worker, or simply tired of nightly charging.
Moto G77 Power: what Motorola has confirmed
The teasers confirm a 6.72-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 7i protection, with a centred punch-hole for the 32MP selfie camera. On the back sits a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main sensor paired with an 8MP ultra-wide — a sensible two-camera setup rather than the usual filler macro lens.

The phone runs Android 16 with Motorola’s Hello UI out of the box, and the company has already committed to an Android 17 update. Durability gets attention too: MIL-STD-810H certification, plus Pantone-curated colours (Black, Blue and Red) with a vegan leather finish. Audio buyers will note the 3.5mm headphone jack, dual stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio certification — the jack in particular is becoming rare at this price.
One thing Motorola has not confirmed yet is the chipset. The Moto G77 sold in some global markets uses a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 with a smaller 5,200mAh battery, but the India-bound G77 Power is a different configuration, so treat any processor claims as unconfirmed until July 8.
Pricing and availability
Motorola’s teaser places the Moto G77 Power under ₹30,000, with the exact price to be announced at launch on July 8. It will sell via Flipkart, motorola.in and offline retail stores.
