Motorola has introduced the Moto Edge 30 globally. This is lighter version of the Pro variant that was launched a couple of months ago.
The Edge 30 sports a 6.5-inches Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a 144Hz Refresh Rate. The screen supports 10-bit display, DCI-P3 colour gamut, HDR10+, has a 20:9 Aspect Ratio, and is home to an In-display fingerprint reader. The selfie lens on the screen is a 32MP f/2.4 aperture sensor.
The Motorola Edge 30 runs on Android 12 with MyUX, and the Lenovo-owned brand has promised to deliver 2 years of major Android OS upgrades (Android 13 and 14) for the 5G smartphone. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ 5G octa-core processor with an Adreno 642L GPU. It has 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and is backed by a 4,020 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging via a USB Type-C port.
In the connectivity area, the Moto Edge 30 supports 5G Sub-6GHz, 4G LTE mobile networks, Wi-Fi 6E with 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax 2.4 GHz/5 GHz, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, AGPS, LTEPP, SUPL, GLONASS, and Galileo location services.
The triple lens arrar on the rear panel consists of a 50 megapixels primary sensor that has an f/1.8 aperture, supports Optical Image Stabilization, a 50MP ultra-wide lens with a 118° FOV, an f/1.5 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, and an LED Flash.
Sensors on the phone include a Proximity sensor, an Ambient Light sensor, an Accelerometer, a Gyroscope, an Sar sensor, and a Magnetometer (compass). The mobile weighs 155g and measures 159.38 x 74.24 x 6.79mm. It has Stereo Speakers, but does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device is rated IP52 for Splash Resistance.

Motorola has priced the Moto Edge 30 Pro at £379.99 in the U.K, and at €449.99 in Europe. The price translates to about Rs. 36,000 or $475 USD. The device will be available in the U.K, Europe, India, Australia, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America.
