ASUS Zenfone 8
The ASUS Zenfone 8 sports a 5.9-inches Full HD+ AMOLED panel with 120Hz Refresh Rate, and 800 nits brightness. The panel is secured by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, and has a 112% wide color gamut of the DCI-P3, 105% NTSC color gamut, 151.9% sRGB color gamut, HDR 10 and HDR10+. The device has an In-Display Fingerprint sensor, and a 12MP Sony IMX663 hole-punch lens for selfies.
The phone runs on Android 11 with ZenUI 8, and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G processor with an Adreno 660, 8GB/12GB/16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Asus Zenfone 8 Flip has the same processor and connectivity options as the regular variant, but with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage and a dedicated microSD card slot.
The screen on the phone is a 6.67-inches Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED panel with 90Hz Refresh Rate, 1000 nits brightness. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6, has a 112% wide color gamut of the DCI-P3, 105% NTSC color gamut, HDR10+, and is equipped with an In-Display Fingerprint sensor.
The Zenfone 8 Flip is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 30W Quick Charge 4.0, PD 3.0, over a USB Type-C port. The phone runs on android 11 with ZenUI 8. The device has Dual Stereo Speakers, dual Goodix TFA9874 Smart AMP, supports Dirac HD Sound and hi-Res audio. Unfortunately, the Zenfone 8 Flip does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The highlight of the ASUS Zenfone 8 Flip is the motorized camera module. It has triple cameras that can be used for selfies and regular photography. The device retains the 2 sensors of the regular variant, while the third lens is a 12MP Sony IMX 363 telephoto lens that supports 3x optical zoom, 12x digital zoom.

Asus Zenfone 8 price
The Asus Zenfone 8 price starts at €670, while the ASUS Zenfone 8 Flip costs €800. It is available for pre-order in Taiwan and Europe.
Asus had previously confirmed that it has postponed the launch of the Zenfone 8 series in India, due to the Covid-19 situation.
