While the official launch is still a couple of months away, leaks about Google’s forthcoming flagships have just begun to drop. Today, a set of Pixel 4 XL leaked renders have been posted by a publication.

The pictures reveal a really bizzare design. The Google Pixel 4 XL doesn’t have a notch, but has a massive forehead, minimal side-bezels and a very thin chin. Usually, its the other way around, a fat chin and a thin forehead.

There is however a reason why the forehead is huge. It is home to dual selfie cameras. The Pixel 4 XL leaked pictures show some extra sensors in the forehead, including an ear-piece. This design also marks a move away from the front-facing speakers for the Pixel device line-up.

The screen on the phone is rumoured to be a 6.25-inch panel, and according to Pricebaba and Onleaks, the device measures about 160.4 x 75.2 x 8.2mm.

Moving to the rear, the Google Pixel 4 XL has a glass back panel. And there is no 2-tone colour design this time around. There is a large square bump on the top right corner of the back, with two lenses and an LED flash resembling a robot-face design.

A third lens which could be a ToF camera is seen above the 2 lenses. One of the two larger cameras is said to be an optical-zoom lens, and Google is said to be working on improved Night Sight support.

Other details we could pick from the Pixel 4 XL leaked photos include a USB Type-C port and dual speakers on the bottom. A power button and volume rocker keys are placed on the right side of the frame. The Pixel 4 XL does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. There is no visible fingerprint scanner on the back panel,

The Pixel 4 XL will likely run Android Q and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. Rumour has it that it will come with 6GB of RAM for the base model.
