Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S10 lineup later this month, and leaks about the flagship phones have been pouring in as usual. This time it is a Galaxy S10 Plus benchmark which has been spotted on Geekbench.
The phone has 6GB of RAM, and the octa-core Exynos 9820 processor ran at a clock speed of 1.95GHz. According to the listing, the device’s codename is the SM-G975F.
The Exynos 9820 powered Galaxy S10 Plus managed to score 4472 points in the single core benchmark, which is quite impressive. It is close to the 4797 score of iPhone XS with Apple A12 Bionic, which is not bad per se.
Still, the Galaxy S10 Plus benchmark is miles ahead of the previous gen processor on Android phones. For comparison the device at the top of the Android benchmark on Geekbench is the Exynos 9810 powered Galaxy Note 9 which only managed 3472 points.
The 2nd ranked device on Geekbench’s multi-core list is a Huawei Mate 20 Pro with HiSilicon Kirin 980 has a score of 3330. The Xiaomi Black Shark with a not so impressive score of 2405 points, is the first Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 powered device in the list.
So, how does the Galaxy S10 Plus benchmark fare, in terms of multi-core. With a score of 10387, it is not too far behind the Apple A12 Bionic’s score of 11267. The current top Android device multi-core benchmarks sees the Mate 20 Pro with 9778, OnePlus 6T with 8862, Galaxy Note9 at 4th place with 8798 points.
The Snapdragon 855 benchmark which reported earlier shows scores which are significantly lesser than the Exynos 9820.
