By looking at triple cameras in some smartphone, if you thought that brands have gone crazy then wait a bit. It seems we are entering a crazy race for the maximum number of cameras a smartphone can have. Samsung latest smartphone Galaxy A9 (2018) comes with four cameras at the rear and this is no wild guess or leak now after the phone got listed officially on the Samsung page. The official listing of the device is now pulled from the Samsung portal at the time of writing this post. Samsung has already scheduled a 4X event tomorrow which is set to unveil the device officially.

Check out the Galaxy A9 (2018)phone renders along with other promotional materials that we saved before the listing was pulled out.

The main camera of the Galaxy A9 (2018) features a 24MP sensor with f/1.7 aperture followed by the ultra-wide camera (120°) 8MP sensor having f/2.4 aperture and there’s a 5MP depth sensor for bokeh effects. The fourth one is a 10MP telephoto sensor with f/2.4 aperture and offers 2x optical zoom w.r.t the main camera.

The listing also reveals a Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with an octa-core processor powering the device which in our opinion is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor along with 6GB / 8GB of RAM. The 8GB RAM variant will be available only in select countries and in the same way the 6GB variant. It comes with 128GB of internal storage along with support for a dedicated MicroSD card slot (in addition to dual Sim card slot) for cards up to 512 GB.

It is backed by a 3800 mAh battery along with fast charging support and comes with a USB C type port for charging. Other features include Face unlock and fingerprint sensor on the rear.

At the moment we have no clue about the pricing and availability details, but we will know soon as we are just a few hours away from the official launch. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
