OnePlus 6T gets certified in Russia

Who is the ready for the OnePlus 6T ? Definitely not OnePlus 6 users, that’s for sure.

OnePlus 6T certification

But, the next gen phone has been certified in Russia. The authority, which is the ECC (Eurasian Economic Commission) has listed the OnePlus 6T. You can see in the picture, that the model number of the device is OnePlus A 6013.

But that’s just about it, because the listing does not spill the beans on the device’s technical specifications. So, here is what we think the OnePlus 6T tech specs could be.

We wouldn’t be very surprised if the OnePlus 6T supports wireless charging, because the OnePlus 6 does have a glass back, though it doesn’t support the feature. Many believe this was the company’s way to “add an improvement” for the OnePlus 6T.

OnePlus likes to improve the cameras slightly for the T version, so there’s that. And it could pack the same technical specifications as its predecessor with a notch display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with 6GB/8GB of RAM.

But we must also keep in mind that the self-proclaimed “start-up”, is in reality is owned by Oppo. And the Oppo R17 Pro, which was launched recently, features a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with the waterdrop notch. If the OnePlus 6T borrows the same spec sheet, then we might also see a 25MP selfie lens, and a dual cameras set up comprising of a 12MP and 20MP lenses.

Some reports indicate that the OnePlus 6T will retail for $550 on T-Mobile. That’s about $20 over the price of the OnePlus 6. We’ll wait until we hear more, before judging.

With OnePlus drifting away towards more and more expensive devices, will you consider buying the 6T? Or will Poco claim the flagship killer crown with the unbelievably inexpensive Poco F1. A Snapdragon 845 phone for Rs. 21,000 ($300). Really? We are still in shock, in a good way.
