For last few days, Huawei in China has been teasing about some “Breaking Technology” or a breakthrough for an upcoming smartphone without sharing any details or specifics about the same. Today the company has officially confirmed and scheduled a launch event in Beijing at the Beijing University, China for a new smartphone which comes with this new “Breakthrough Technology” on June 6th, 2018. The event teaser suggests Huawei Honor Play as the name of the smartphone that comes with this “Breakthrough Technology” and will be unveiled on the same day. You may already know that the company already has a Play series of devices that are available in Chinese market.

This new smartphone is also expected to come with AI (Artificial Intelligence) based camera features and groundbreaking 4D gaming experience which again is based on artificial intelligence. At the moment, not much details are available about this upcoming Honor Play device but it appears that company is projecting it as a flagship series though the earlier Play series devices were entry-level or mid-range devices.
