After loads of speculation, OnePlus has made the official announcement about the OnePlus 5T launch. As per the official OnePlus twitter handle, the launch event is scheduled for November 16, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. ET at Brooklyn, NY which will be live streamed worldwide. After the official launch of OnePlus 5T on November 16, an early access sale of the device will happen on Nov 21st at 4:30 PM exclusively on Amazon India. Similar early access sale of OnePlus 5T will also happen in other countries. If you are in India, you can watch the launch event live in select PVR theatres across India for a ticket priced at Rs. 99.

Based on leaks and rumours, OnePlus 5T is rumoured to feature 6.0 inch 18:9 display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 i.e. FHD+ display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with 8GB of RAM. It comes with 128GB of internal storage and runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo) based operating system with Oxygen OS on top.

In terms of camera, it is rumoured to feature 20MP camera sensors both at front and rear, which is an upgrade over the existing OnePlus 5 which comes with a front camera of 16 MP shooter. Thanks to the 18:9 display, the fingerprint sensor is expected to be placed on the rear panel and there won’t be any home button at front. We have already the top half of front display with minimum bezels at sides.
