Google announced the latest version of Android sometime back i.e. Android 8.0 Oreo. Consumers around the world are getting anxious and asking their phone manufacturers if they will get the Android 8.0 Oreo update on their device. If yes, then what is the time estimate for the update to roll out?
Sony seems to have listened to these queries and has officially announced the list of the devices that will get the Android 8.0 Oreo update in future, though Sony has not announced any time estimate for the upate roll out. Check out the following list of Sony devices getting the Oreo update sooner or later:

- Xperia X Performance,
- Xperia XZ,
- Xperia X Compact,
- Xperia XZ Premium,
- Xperia XZs,
- Xperia XA1,
- Xperia XA1 Ultra,
- Xperia Touch and
- Xperia XA1 Plus
If your Sony device is not in the above mentioned list, then it means that you will not get the Oreo update and had to contend yourself with the current version of Android operating system running on the device.
