Panasonic P55 Max with 5000mAh battery launched at Rs 8,499

Panasonic has launched a new entry-level smartphone P55 Max with a massive 5,000 mAh battery for consumers in India. The P55 Max is priced at Rs. 8,499 and will be available exclusively on Flipkart in two color variants of Matte Black and Champagne Gold.

Panasonic P55 Max sports a 5.5-inch 720p HD IPS 2.5D curved display with Asahi enabled glass protection, powered by 1.25 GHz Quad core processor along with 3 GB of RAM. Even though Panasonic press release didn’t specify the processor details, the official listing page reveals that P55 Max is powered by Mediatek MT6737 processor. The phone runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat based operating system. It comes with 16 GB of internal storage along with support for expandable storage via microsd card up to 128 GB.

In terms of camera, it features a 13-megapixel main rear camera  along with Quad LED Flash to captures clear pictures in low light situation. For connectivity, the phone comes with dual SIM support with 3G/4G LTE along with VOLTE, direct Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. In terms of dimensions, it measures 152 x 77.6 x 8.7 mm and weighs 180 grams. Thanks to the massive battery of 5,000 mAh the phone is 8.7 mm thick and weighs 180 grams which may feel heavy for many users.
