Just few days back, we reported a leak on Gionee S10 that suggested presence of Dual cameras both at front and back panel, making four cameras in total on the phone. Today, we have the official confirmation of the same from Gionee. The weibo handle of Gionee China has released a teaser which confirms that Gionee S10 will come with total of four cameras which means dual camera’s both at front and back. At the moment, the company has not revealed any specific details about the camera sensors, but TENAA listing suggests 20 MP + 8 MP camera sensors at the front and a 16 MP + 8 MP camera sensors at back. The teaser image also gives a sneak peek into the upcoming dual camera smartphone with the dual camera located at top left corner of back panel.

At the moment, company is yet to announce an official launch date, but we can safely assume that it is close. The latest rumors though suggest that Gionee S10 will be officially launched on May 26 which is still few weeks ago.

Gionee S10 advertisement leak suggests dual camera both at front and back

Just few weeks back, we reported about upcoming Gionee S10 getting listed on Chinese certification agency TENAA revealing the design and specifications of the device. The interesting aspect of the TENAA listing is, the presence of 16 MP dual camera at back panel of Gionee S10, though the listing only suggested a single front camera for selfies. Now thanks to a new leak coming from China, it seems that Gionee S10 may in fact come with Dual cameras both at front and back panel which means that the phone comes with total of four camera sensors.

If we consider this leak as genuine, then Gionee S10 will become the second smartphone to come with dual cameras both at front and back. Alcatel Flash was the first smartphone to come with both front and rear Dual Camera Setup, which comes two 13-megapixel camera sensors at back while the front module comes with a 8 MP + 5 MP sensor.

In terms of camera, it comes with a 13 MP dual camera module at the back along with support for full HD 1080p video recording and another 16 MP front shooter for selfies. After today’s leak, we are not sure of the second camera sensor at the front in addition to the 16 MP sensor as mentioned by TENAA. Gionee S10 is backed by a battery of 3700 mAh and comes with support for 4G LTE along with VOLTE.

At the moment, we still do not have any official confirmation of Gionee S10 including any possible launch date. We will update you as and when we receive that information.
