The next Samsung flagship device i.e. Galaxy S8 is expected to be launched in April 18 this year which is  almost thirteen months after the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge were unveiled. The delay in launch date of Galaxy S8 can be attributed to factors such as Note 7 fiasco and Snapdragon 835 delays. Today, a new rumor indicates something that we have not seen before from Samsung for any of its flagship device launches.

As per the rumor, Samsung Galaxy S8 is ready and will be presented at Mobile World congress MWC 2017 on 29th March. The odd thing though is, Galaxy S8 won’t be showcased to public and will be available only for select few. Mobile World Congress is scheduled to be held at Barcelona between 27 February – 2 March 2017.

#S8 is READY & will be present to mwc, though NOT showcased to big public.. Little bird told me 3/29 , available w17, from 849 !!! #galaxyS8

The rumor also indicates that it will be available to public in Week 17 which turns out to be the last week of April starting April 24, which is just one week ahead of rumored official Galaxy S8 launch date of April 18. This rumor does match with earlier one which stated something similar that Samsung will release small batch of Galaxy S8 in Feb – March 2017 much ahead of official launch.

But as with any other rumor reported on Androidpure, take this with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
