The official launch of Samsung Galaxy S8 is still at least five to six months away, yet rumor mills have started to roll for the next flagship from Samsung. An alleged specifications sheet for Samsung Galaxy S8 is spotted on Chinese social network Weibo which lists out some of the major hardware specifications of the smartphone including the possible price and proposed release date of April 2017. To be honest, we are not sure about this leak as it seems an excel sheet made by someone with possible hardware specifications of Samsung Galaxy S8.
As per the alleged specs sheet, Galaxy S8 to feature a 5.2 inch 4K display with resolution of 4096 x 2160 pixels with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and may be powered by unnamed 3.2 GHz octa-core Snapdragon processor and 6 GB of RAM. The CPU seem highly unlikely, as the latest flagship CPUs from Qualcomm are Quad core processors including the Sd 821. So we are not so sure if Galaxy S8 may be powered by an Octa-core processor instead of a Quad core.
In terms of storage, it may come with 64 GB / 128 GB internal storage along with support for expandable storage via microsd card and will run on the latest Android operating system available at the launch.
In terms of camera, Samsung Galaxy S8 may feature a 9 MP front camera for selfies and a 30 MP main rear camera along with optical image stabilisation OIS, facial recognition and auto laser focus. It may be backed by a battery of 4200 mAh capacity along with fast charge support.
