Meizu has officially launched its gigantic phablet, the Meizu M3 Max, to rivalthe Xiaomi Mi Max. The Meizu M3 Max sports a 6.0 inch 1080p Full HD IPS display, with Corning Gorilla Glass and runs on Flyme OS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The device is powered by an octa-core Mediatek HelioP10 processor with 3GB of RAM. The phone comes with 64GB of internal storage, and has a microSD card slot which supports to 128GB of expandable storage.
The Meizu M3 Max comes with a physical home button, with the company’s patented mBack feature which allows the user to aunlock the phone with the fingerprint scanner, go to to the homepage, multi task, and even lock the screen with a varirty of tap, press ad longpress gestures.
The camera department on the Meizu M3 Max features a 13 Megapixel rear camera which has a Sony IMX 258 sensor, and a Dual LED flash. The selfie lens on the phone is a 5 megapixel front camera. The M3 Max is backed by a 4100 mAh battery, and supports mCharge which can charge the battery to 45% in just 30 minutes. Despite being a massive 6-inch phone, the device measures only 7.9 mm in thickness. The phone sports a metal unibody design, with a nano molding antenna, and comes in 4 colors
The M3 Max has a 3.5mm audio jack on the bottom, along with a USB Type C connector, and a single bottom facing speaker grille.
There is no mention of the mPen stylus, which we previously saw in some leaks.
