Moto X 2016 photo leaked on Weibo could be fake, looks similar to Moto G3

Motorola has been rumored to bring back its popular Moto X series, after earlier reports claimed that it had been replaced by the Moto Z series. And a couple of images of the supposed Moto X 2016 have been leaked on Weibo.

Moto X leak-

The one you see above is of the device’s rear. Personally, I’m not convinced about this leak. It looks awfully similar to the Moto G 3rd Gen. The leaked image looks similar to the launch event photo of the 3rd gen device.

And both the budget Moto G4 and the flagship Moto Z series, have laser focus on the back, but the new leak of the Moto X 2016 doesn’t, which makes it hard to believe this is the real deal.

Secondly the image below mention the Nexus 6 and the Moto Z Force, and another photo which features the rear of a phone, which resembles the LED Ring Flash of the Nexus 6.

Here is a photo of my own Nexus 6, looks identical doesn’t it?

But we’ll leave the judgement to you.
