Moto Z to come with 10X optical Zoom as per Lenovo teaser

A latest teaser image from Lenovo suggests that the upcoming flagship from Moto by Lenovo i.e. Moto Z will be coming with 10X optical Zoom with their main rear camera. Just few hours back we reported a leaked images which showed the camera bump from the side view and perhaps now we know that why Moto couldn’t seamlessly integrate the camera into the smartphone body. This bump could be due to presence of Optical Zoom of 10X that the phone is bringing on. If you remember, we have seen optical zoom of 3X in Asus Zenfone Zoom which also comes with a slight camera bump from the back side though the camera module was much bigger.

The other possibility may be that Moto Camera Mod will be bringing the 10X optical zoom instead of directly integrating it right into the main camera. Even if that is the case, it will make it a great Mod for photography.

The teaser image from Lenovo comes with a small poem type description in Chinese which when translated to English gives the following:

You can shoot the entire night sky
Can also lock a shining star
You can take the whole sea
Also chasing the rising sun
# Let the imagination #
Moto 16 magnetic points, with 10 times optical zoom
Eternal freeze every extreme beauty
#Tech World has come #
Let us work together on three-under the stars
Let us meet in blue sky
The scenery in the Pocket

The description above talks about 16 magnetic points and 10X optical zoom using which you can shoot the entire sky or shining star or rising sun or whole sea which clearly points out to presence of Optical Zoom.

Yet, we would like to wait for the official launch on 9th June to see if it actually happens. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
